Support AACA

The Start of a New Beginning for AACA

AACA's current 9,600-square-feet leased facility on 200 Tremont Street is inadequate to accommodate the agency's current  activities and therefore limits its capacity for service expansion. Last year, our social workers addressed 10,613 client cases in cramped spaces with little privacy. With a student capacity of 257, there is a waiting list of 225 people for its educational programs.

The "Building Opportunities For A Better Tomorrow" capital campaign is seeking to raise $2.8 million from friends and supporters of AACA in order to build a new and permanent facility that will allow us to better meet the service demands of the expanding immigrant community.

With unanimous support from the Chinatown Neighborhood Council, the Boston Redevelopment Authority has designated AACA as co-developer of a parcel of land at 87 Tyler Street in the heart of Boston in October 2003. The new 6-floor building will provide 33,288 square feet of space, 16,779 square feet of which will house AACA's educational and social services, including innovative workforce development programs, cutting-edge early childhood education, and state-of-the-art childcare facilities.  The "Building Opportunities" capital campaign will ensure that AACA continues its important mission in the Greater Boston communities.

Here are some reasons the AACA needs your contribution:

  • We are an agency that is outgrowing its current space.
  • With more space, we can develop new opportunities.
  • Your contribution assists the immigrant and refugee community.

Please contribute! Your generosity turns hopes into reality.
