Job Description Title: Senior Information Systems Analyst Department: Finance and IT Reports To: Director of IT FLSA Classification: Exempt FTE: 1 Supervises: None Position Summary: Responsible for implementing and supporting information systems and services by collaborating with and leading interdisciplinary teams to ensure that technology utilization enhances business operations. This positon will have primary responsibility for implementing systems, designing data exchange and organizing business processes to support effective constituent relationship management (CRM).
This position is part of a small internal IT team that works collaboratively with third-party vendors to provide, maintain and support all technology services for the organization. Essential Functions: • Leads business systems selection and implementation projects by collaborating with business users and third-party vendors to identify and deliver effective technology solutions • Maintains project notes, schedules, task lists, and budgets to facilitate the on-time and cost effective completion of project deliverables • Reviews and assesses business processes, develops work flow documentation, and collaborates with teams to design new processes that leverage technology tools to improve organizational operations • Designs and maintains database integration packages to ensure that data is reliably exchanged between third-party systems and an internal Microsoft SQL database • Designs and maintains data entry and administration standards, queries, views and reports to support customer service, statistical analysis and business decision making • Creates and maintains systems and business operations documentation to encourage the appropriate utilization of systems by other technical staff and business users • Ability and willingness to administer and support a wide variety of technology services including: Windows computers, Windows servers, telephones, mobile devices, audio/visual equipment, remote access tools, cloud-based services and on-site applications, etc. • Utilizes documentation, interpersonal and communication skills to train, instruct and educate groups and individuals in the effective use of systems and services • Maintains knowledge of the evolution of technology applications, security issues and hardware devices to assist with long-range planning for technology
Other Duties and Responsibilities: Individuals assigned to this position may perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Preparation, Knowledge, Previous Experience: • Bachelor degree in information technology, project management, business administration, knowledge management or a related field is required • Minimum of 7 years of experience with business systems administration, project management and/or knowledge management in a professional work environment is required Skills, Abilities, Competencies: Required Skills: • Experience with project management and leading team collaboration • Experience implementing and managing constituent relationship management systems and related business processes • Critical thinking skills to identify, analyze and resolve business challenges • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to distill and communicate technical information to a non-technical audience • Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines • Ability to work collaboratively with third-party vendors to implement and maintain effective solutions • Participative work style; ability to give and receive productive feedback • Mature interpersonal style; ability interact calmly with a diverse range of people • Ability to make decisions about how to manage and organize own workload Additional Desired Skills: • Experience with Salesforce administration • Strong working knowledge of database administration, data integration tools and report writing preferably with Microsoft SQL • Advanced aptitude in using and supporting Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project and Outlook • Strong knowledge in network security and the administration of Active Directory, cloud applications, and on premise business systems • Well-informed on emerging technologies and willingness to maintain up to date skills Working Conditions & Physical Demands: • Ability to sit for long periods of time • Ability to use a computer monitor and keyboard for long periods of time • Ability to carry up to 25 pounds
