Training Program for Careers in Banking and Finance

The Careers in Banking and Finance course has been developed in partnership with over a dozen banking partners, who tell us exactly what they expect from their employees. That means that you will learn exactly what you need to know to make a good impression, be successful, and land that dream job in the banking and financial services industry.

AACA’s Careers in Banking and Finance program is an adult education program that teaches everything you need to know to get into the industry, then gives your career a big push in the right direction with constant support and advice. Examples of jobs for graduates include bank tellers, customer service representatives, and universal bankers.

How much does it cost?

The Careers in Banking and Finance program may be free to low-income or dislocated workers who qualify for funding. The cost without funding is $6,300.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old, with a friendly, outgoing personality
  • Cash handling/customer service experience in the US
  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Program may be free for low-income or dislocated workers who qualify for funding
  • Must pass basic English, math, and writing tests

How To Apply

English, math, and writing tests are required for admission, as well as an interview. You will need to come to an information and testing session at AACA in downtown Boston.

Testing sessions are held every Tuesday at 2 p.m. Please arrive on time and allow 2½ hours for testing. the calendar or the “Upcoming AACA Classes & Testing Sessions” list to the right of this page to see what date the next testing session will be. Course Schedule

The class meets Tuesday-Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

When you have finished the program, AACA will work with you to find employment.
